We forgot to mention that while we made the “difficult” decision not to move to Costa Rica, we did manage to find our dream holiday home while in Quepos, as you can see below.
It needs a wee bit of work, but is very close to the beach and town centre, the estate agent says it’s attracting plenty of interest due to its natural ventilation – no need for costly air conditioning here!
And on a side note, after our first day in Drake Bay, I was cocky enough to think I had gotten away with not being bitten, while Rebecca had, a real first! Having checked my arms, legs etc… I waltz into the bathroom and the mirror there informed me otherwise. A huge bite on my left eye lid, doesn’t show up too well in this image.
Travel safe, and ‘Pura Vida’ – translated as Pure Life, an iconic Costa Rica saying – enjoy the simple things and be happy.
